Job Summary
Assist with treatments ordered by a provider under supervision, interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on charts. Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and perform basic clerical duties such as answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing. Manage materials functions including ordering and stocking supplies while maintaining a clean environment. Document provider encounters by listing diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions, then transcribe orders for laboratory tests, radiology, and medications. Requires BLS and Medical Assistant certification; previous EHR experience preferred. Bilingual status is a plus. Full-time days schedule Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM to 6:15 PM.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certified or Registered both accepted
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous EHR experience preferred
- Provider is bilingual
