Job Summary
Conduct clinical and administrative duties in a primary care and urgent care setting, including patient preparation, vital signs monitoring, blood draws, injections, and minor procedures under the direction of a licensed Independent Provider. Manage patient records, coordinate appointments, process insurance claims, and perform CLIA-waived lab tests while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Provide age-specific care from newborns to elderly patients, administer vaccines, and respond to medical emergencies using Basic Life Support standards. Work full-time with flexibility to rotate shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the clinic's schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program
- One (1+) year of experience in the healthcare field
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism in appearance and behavior
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care with an understanding of age-specific needs and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Flexibility to rotate shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the clinic's needs
- English language proficiency
- Must be able to exert regularly up to 10 pounds of force
- Must be able to frequently exert 30 pounds of force
- Must be able to occasionally exert 50 pounds of force

Desired Qualifications
- Prior Certified Medical Assistant experience (at least 2+ years)
