Job Summary
Med Tech responsible for administering, documenting, and monitoring prescribed medications per physician orders under supervision of Wellness Director; administer meds, document administration in MAR, observe for reactions, take vital signs prior to meds, administer PRN meds, report medication errors, assist with care plans, protect resident privacy and dignity, and support daily resident care tasks (toileting, grooming, feeding, mobility) in a part-time role at a Las Vegas senior living community. Requires NV-certified med tech with medication administration training, First Aid as required by ALF regulations, and QMAP (CO); high school diploma or equivalent; prior senior living/assisted living experience preferred. Schedule Fridays and Saturdays 6:00am–2:00pm; non-exempt with benefits eligible for longer hours.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Med Tech in NV
- Medication Administration training
- First Aid certification as required by ALF regulations
- QMAP in CO
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred
- Must be able to read and write English
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operating documents
- Ability to learn and follow company policies and procedures
- Three years of industry experience preferred in senior living
