Job Summary
Create and implement weekly lesson plans using diverse methods like storytelling, hands-on activities, and outdoor learning. Evaluate children's developmental progress through observations and daily notes while maintaining consistent communication with families. Support a structured daily schedule, encourage positive social interactions, and guide social-emotional development. Identify behavioral or developmental concerns and take appropriate steps to support each child's needs. Assist with hygiene routines such as diapering, toileting, and handwashing following health and safety standards. Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals and snacks while adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment at all times. Required Qualifications
- Certified Lead Teacher
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a childcare lead teacher
- Strong understanding of child development and current early education practices
- Creative, patient, and able to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Early Childhood Staff Credential, degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent certification
