Job Summary
Create and implement weekly lesson plans using diverse methods like storytelling, hands-on activities, and outdoor learning. Evaluate children's developmental progress through observations and daily notes while maintaining consistent communication with families. Support a structured daily schedule, encourage positive social interactions, and guide social-emotional development. Identify behavioral or developmental concerns and take appropriate steps to support each child's needs. Assist with hygiene routines such as diapering, toileting, and handwashing, and prepare age-appropriate meals following food safety guidelines. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Lead Teacher
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a childcare lead teacher
- Strong understanding of child development and current early education practices
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Early Childhood Staff Credential, degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent certification
