Job Summary
Assists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription orders; maintains aseptic technique and adheres to USP 797/800; ensures proper labeling and timely dispensing; monitors medication expiration dates and maintains inventory levels; supports training of new pharmacy colleagues and collaborates with team to ensure compliance with policies; performs duties related to sterile and non-sterile compounding, stock management, and customer service responsibilities in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years Sterile compounding pharmacy technician experience
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good math skills
- Basic computer skills
- CPhT - Certified Pharmacy Technician - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
