Job Summary
Certified Hospice Aide provides in-home hospice support under RN supervision, performing personal care, safety monitoring, documentation, and routine nursing-assistive tasks. Requires state training/compliance with Home Care Aide Registry, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license; responsibilities include assisting with baths, meals, feeding, vital signs, range of motion, comfort measures, and ensuring a clean, safe living environment while communicating changes to the Case Manager and adhering to care procedures and codes of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements of the State
- Proof of registration on the Home Care Aide Registry preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Satisfactory references
- Current CPR certification
- Licensed driver with insured automobile in good standing
