Job Summary
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including transferring and positioning, while observing and reporting changes in their physical and mental conditions. Provide companionship and conversation, document activities in the Care Plan Book daily, and report significant client changes to the office immediately. Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook and Training Manual, maintain a valid driver's license, and pass a criminal background check prior to employment. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds required. Mid-Stage Dementia experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Certified HHA or active CNA license
- Mid-Stage Dementia Experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English at an average adult level
- Ability to drive or use public transportation to get to work
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid social security number
- Valid driver's license with no serious driving violations
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
