Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide provides personal care and related non-professional household services to meet hygiene, daily living activities, and comfort needs of homebound patients under supervision. Requires HHA certification, HS diploma or GED, and BLS. Responsibilities include home health/hospice care with ability to interpret medical data, communicate clearly with diverse audiences, manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team. Must possess a valid Driver's License and familiarity with healthcare terminology and universal precautions.
Required Qualifications
- HHA-Home Health Aide certification from CDPH
- HS Diploma or GED
- BLS- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- Current valid Driver's License
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices
- Ability to interpret data/instructions in multiple formats
- Written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
