Job Summary
Conduct daily activities of daily living for hospice clients, including bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, oral feeding, and light housekeeping. Perform vital sign checks, assist with ambulation, and facilitate range of motion exercises or transfers using mechanical lifting devices. Support home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making while providing medication assistance. Ensure client safety through transfers and ambulation support within a 1:1 patient ratio environment. Requires active NJ Aide Registry listing, one year of experience, and English proficiency. Offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Must be listed on the NJ Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Have a criminal background check completed
- Meet all state requirements
