Job Summary
Conduct daily hospice visits for clients in Middlesex and Somerset counties, managing Activities of daily living, light housekeeping, bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, range of motion exercises, transfers, oral feeding, vital sign checks, and home management tasks like laundry and meal preparation. Assist with ambulation and medication administration while performing transfers using mechanical lifting devices. Maintain patient safety through infection prevention protocols and daily pre-screens. Requires active NJ Aide Registry listing, one year of experience, English proficiency, and a completed background check. Earn $21-$23/hour with flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits including paid time off, 401k match, and vision/dental/medical plans.
Required Qualifications
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Must be listed on the NJ Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Have a criminal background check completed
- Meet all state requirements
