Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide provides hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities, supports client independence while ensuring safety and well-being, follows individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and documents as required, and communicates effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff. All shifts available with hourly pay starting at $19.50; flexible schedules include full-time, part-time, or per diem across NJ. Training, orientation, and RN mentorship are provided; benefits include 401(k), paid time off, holidays, referral bonuses, and PPE/uniforms. Must hold an active NJ CHHA license in good standing, have reliable transportation and a valid license, and pass required background and health screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Must be physically able to perform essential duties
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
- Two verifiable professional references
- Verifiable employment history for past 12 months
- National criminal background check (and any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey)
- Valid physical examination within the last year
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccination
