Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities, supporting client independence while ensuring safety and well-being. Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs, and document as required. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff. All shifts available for hourly care; starting pay $19.50 to $21 per hour. Flexible schedule includes full-time, part-time, or per diem. Work cases throughout NJ with paid PTO, holidays, and opportunities for advancement from CHHA to care-coordinator roles. Training and RN mentorship provided; free uniforms and PPE; benefits include 401(k), referral bonuses, and paid orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
- References: at least two verifiable professional references
- Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months
- Successful completion of national criminal background check
- Health requirements: valid physical examination within the last year; negative TB test or chest X-ray; proof of MMR vaccination
