Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities while supporting client independence and ensuring safety. Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and document as required. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff. Earn $19.50–$21/hr with flexible full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules. Requires active New Jersey CHHA licensure, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of employment history. Must pass background check and provide medical clearance including physical exam, TB test, and MMR vaccination.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Physical ability to perform the essential duties of this position
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- At least two verifiable professional references
- Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months
- Successful completion of a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey)
- Valid physical examination within the last year
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
