Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities while supporting client independence and safety. Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and document as required. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff regarding care updates and concerns. Full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts available in New Jersey starting at $19.50/hour with instant pay options. Candidates must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide license, possess reliable transportation, and pass a national criminal background check. Paid orientation, ongoing skills training, and RN mentorship are provided to support career growth from caregiver to care coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Physical ability to perform the essential duties of this position
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- At least two verifiable professional references
- Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months
- Successful completion of a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey)
- Valid physical examination within the last year
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of Hepatitis B and MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
