Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities while supporting client independence and safety. Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and document as required. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff. Maintain a positive attitude and adaptability to clients' needs. Earn $19.50–$21/hr with flexible full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules. Requires active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide license, reliable transportation, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Physical ability to perform the essential duties of this position
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- At least two verifiable professional references
- Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months
- Successful completion of a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey)
- Valid physical examination within the last year
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of Hepatitis B and MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
