Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide position providing hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities across NJ. Responsibilities include following individualized care plans, ensuring client safety and well-being, documenting required information, communicating effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff. Flexible schedules available (full-time, part-time, per diem) with hourly pay starting at $19–$21 and benefits such as paid time off, holidays, 401(k), training, and advancement opportunities. Must hold an active NJ CHHA license, have reliable transportation, pass a background check, and meet health requirements. Location is Dover, NJ with in-person care across assigned cases.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Must be physically capable of essential duties
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance
- Two verifiable professional references
- Past 12 months of verifiable employment history
- National criminal background check
- Valid physical examination within the last year
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of MMR vaccination
