Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities while supporting client independence and ensuring safety. Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and document as required. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff. Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to clients' needs to make a meaningful difference in their lives. This role offers hourly pay starting at $19.50 with flexible full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules. Candidates must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide license, possess reliable transportation, and pass a national criminal background check. Dharma Home Care provides ongoing training, RN mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement from caregiver to office leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Physical ability to perform the essential duties of this position
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- At least two verifiable professional references
- Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months
- Successful completion of a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey)
- Valid physical examination within the last year
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of Hepatitis B and MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
