Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities while supporting client independence and safety. Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and document as required. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff. Maintain a positive attitude and adaptability to clients' needs. Full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts available in NJ. Starting at $19.50/hr with instant pay, paid PTO, and seven paid holidays. Candidates must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide license, possess reliable transportation, and pass a criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Physical ability to perform the essential duties of this position
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- At least two verifiable professional references
- Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months
- Successful completion of a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
- Hepatitis B or declination form
