Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) with active NJ license to provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living. Follow individualized care plans, document care, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff. Flexible shifts available (full-time, part-time, per diem) across NJ; opportunity for growth from CHHA to mentor roles and care-coordinator trajectories. Must maintain licensure, transportation, references, background check, and health clearances. Emphasis on client independence, safety, and compassionate, client-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Physical ability to perform essential duties
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
- Two verifiable professional references
- Pass national criminal background check
- Proof of physical examination within the last year and TB test or chest X-ray
- Proof of Measles, Mumps, and Rubella vaccination
