Job Summary
Follow the patient plan of care to ensure comfort and well-being by attending promptly to patient and family requests. Assist with personal care needs including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Provide support for families by sharing knowledge and guiding them in caring for terminally ill loved ones. Maintain accurate documentation to meet agency and regulatory standards. Work 15-20 hours per week in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties under the guidance of a registered nurse.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) license OR a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Current CPR certification if state-mandated
- Current driver's license
- Vehicle insurance
- Access to dependable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience in hospice or skilled nursing facility
- Hospice experience
