Job Summary
Provide companion activities, homemaking, personal care, and transport to appointments for patients with post-stroke and dementia care needs. Assist clients with daily activities including exercise, positioning, bathing, vital signs monitoring, and light housekeeping while adhering to the patient plan of care. Maintain reliable transportation and ability to travel within the geographic area serviced by the office. Complete criminal history and background checks upon hire. Interim HealthCare offers Dementia care and Home Life Enrichment training programs in a supportive environment with weekly direct deposit and PPE supplies.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Certified Homemaker Home Health Aide Certificate
- Reliable vehicle
- Able to pass criminal history and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Provide two references of past employers or nursing program instructors (no family or friends)
- Able to constantly travel within geographic area serviced by office from assignment to assignment
- Must have NJ CHHA certification and reliable transportation
- Criminal history and background check will be completed upon hire
