Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) provides patients with skilled services under supervision of a Licensed/Certified Clinician, assisting with activities of daily living and documenting vitals and routines. Responsibilities include checking temperatures, pulse and respiration, assisting with prescribed exercises, helping with transfers and ambulation, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, and light housekeeping; support of clinicians with daily activities and chart documentation. The role supports non-remote, part-time scheduling (24 hours/week plus per diem and non-traditional schedules) across Area #4 and Area #5 in multiple CA cities. Requires CA CHHA Certification, CPR, one year CHHA experience, strong documentation and computer skills, and excellent communication.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
- Minimum one (1) year checking vitals and reporting/documenting on clinical charts
- Home Health Aide Training
- California Home Health Aide Certification and CPR Certification
- General knowledge and understanding of clinical verbiage
- Strong attention to detail for use in chart documentation
- Excellent time management/calendaring skills and ability to deliver documentation timely
- Strong experience using computers and computer systems
- Experience using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Gmail Suite or other systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
