Aligned Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide to provide personal and specialized care to terminally ill patients in a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Home Health Aide Certification (required)
- At least 18 years of age
- Possesses and maintains CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Understand hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
- Satisfactory references from a previous employer
- Ability to work with little direct supervision
- Secure with issues of death and dying
- Calm manner when in a patient's home
- Tact, patience, and good personal hygiene
