Job Summary
Visiting Certified Home Health Aide providing in-home personal care and medical-support tasks across California (LA/Orange/San Diego/Riverside/San Bernardino/Kern/Ventura counties) with per diem scheduling. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, feeding, activities of daily living, measurements and documentation of vital signs, medication assistance as per care plan, ambulation and ROM, ensuring safety and comfort, maintaining patient living areas, meal preparation, and reporting changes to the supervising nurse. Requires CPR certification, a valid HHA license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently on home visits while delivering compassionate, client-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License.
