Job Summary
Provide personal care including baths, oral hygiene, skin care, toileting, and dressing assistance. Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding, and perform laundry. Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure when ordered. Assist with ambulation, exercise, and range of motion procedures. Administer medication as directed and ensure patient safety using equipment like foot stools and side rails. Report patient condition changes to the assigned nurse and adhere to documentation standards. Maintain a clean and orderly living area. Work on the road across LA, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, and Ventura counties. Valid HHA license, active driver's license, and CPR certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
