Job Summary
Provide personal care including baths, oral hygiene, skin care, and toileting activities while maintaining patient living areas. Assist with dressing, ambulation, exercise, and medication administration as ordered. Prepare and serve nutritious meals, monitor vital signs, and report condition changes to the assigned nurse. Adhere to documentation standards and safety equipment protocols. Maintain current HHA license, CPR certification, and valid driver's license. Work per diem across Southern California counties with little direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
