Job Summary
Visiting Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) delivering in-home care across Southern California counties. Responsibilities include providing personal care (baths, dressing, toileting, hygiene), assisting with mobility and activities of daily living, coordinating with nursing staff, planning nutritious meals, monitoring vitals, and documenting care according to plan of care. Requires CPR certification, an active HHA license, a valid driver’s license with insurance, and ability to work with little supervision while ensuring safety and quality of patient care. Per diem position based on on-the-road/home visits; travel between designated counties in CA.
Required Qualifications
- Meets training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License
