Job Summary
Visiting Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) delivering in-home, hands-on care to clients in Southern California communities, with responsibilities covering personal care, vital signs, medication assistance, meal prep, range-of-motion therapy support, documentation, and safety. The role requires compassionate, detail-oriented caregivers able to work independently on home visits, adhere to care plans, and support clients’ daily living activities while ensuring safety and comfort in their homes.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License
