Job Summary
Visiting Certified Home Health Aide providing in-home care and support to clients in Southern California; responsibilities include personal care (baths, dressing, hygiene), assisting with daily living activities, meal planning and preparation, monitoring temperatures and vital signs, assisting with medications, light housekeeping, and reporting changes to the supervising nurse. Requires CPR certification and a valid HHA license with a licensed, insured vehicle; role is per diem, on the road, serving CA counties including Yorba Linda. Candidates should be energetic, compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering safe, high-quality home health services in clients’ homes.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License.
