Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) responsibilities include providing compassionate in-home care to seniors, following physician and nurse instructions, recording and reporting medically necessary data, assisting with daily activities (dressing, bathing), helping plan doctor appointments, and coordinating transportation. Roles may involve facility work, hourly or live-in care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and reporting patients’ health status to nurses. Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and per-diem shifts; weekend and overnight opportunities; opportunities for professional development and employee recognition. Located in Keansburg, NJ with coverage across Middlesex, Mercer, and Northern Monmouth Counties.
Required Qualifications
- NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- 2-step PPD
- Physical within the last 12 months
- MMR
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Reliable transportation
