Job Summary
Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) position with Right at Home of Central New Jersey providing in-home care across Middlesex, Mercer, and Northern Monmouth Counties. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, dressing and bathing, planning doctor's appointments, transporting, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, reporting to nurses about patients’ health, teaching self-care skills, and potential facility work; shifts may be full-time, part-time, or per-diem including weekends and overnights. Requires NJ CHHA license, high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, reliable transportation, 2-step PPD, recent physical, MMR, and ability to follow doctors’ instructions; compensation $18-20/hour with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide a must
- 2-step PPD
- Physical within the last 12 months
- MMR
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Reliable transportation
