Job Summary
Certified High School Special Education Science Teacher will support and motivate students through high-quality virtual instruction using the Pearson Online Classroom. Responsibilities include delivering synchronous and asynchronous instruction, providing Tier 1, 2, and 3 interventions, using assessment data to drive instruction, conducting parent conferences, and participating in state standardized assessments. The role requires strong commitment to equitable practices, excellent communication, effective collaboration, and strong organizational skills. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree, Georgia teaching certification, and the ability to engage with diverse student backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in the content area or related field
- Possess a Georgia teaching certification in the subject area of instruction
- Must have a Clearance Certificate through the Department of Education or be able to obtain one within the first 30 days of the first day of hire.
- Experience in teaching or supporting Title I schools

Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and be comfortable with regular day trips and occasional overnight travel as needed.
- A reliable personal vehicle is required.
