Job Summary
Certified Social Studies Teacher required to deliver high-quality synchronous and asynchronous instruction, provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction, use assessment data to inform teaching, and maintain strong relationships with students and families. Engage in professional collaboration, participate in required state assessments and in-person events. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, Georgia teaching certification, and technology proficiency. Strong organizational and communication skills necessary, along with a flexible approach to teaching and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in the content area or related field
- Possess a Georgia teaching certification in the subject area of instruction
- Must have a Clearance Certificate through the Department of Education or be able to obtain one within the first 30 days of the first day of hire
- Experience in teaching or supporting Title I schools

- Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
