Job Summary
Deliver personalized home care to clients in Cochrane under a Care Coordinator's guidance, assisting with bathing, grooming, hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Provide companionship, emotional support, and accompany clients on outings and appointments while managing medication reminders and safe mobility transfers. Complete accurate documentation and charting after each visit to track progress against individualized care plans. This role requires a Certified Health Care Aide with 2–5 years of caregiving experience, current CPR and First Aid certification, and reliable transportation within the Cochrane area. Flexible scheduling allows you to choose shifts that fit your lifestyle while working 20 to 25 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 2–5 years of caregiving or health care experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
- Reliable transportation within Cochrane area
- Access to a mobile phone and internet
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while following individualized care plans
