Job Summary
Evaluate, plan, and provide treatment for patients with upper extremity injuries or conditions to help them regain function. Deliver patient-centered care by interpreting evaluations, coordinating treatment plans with physicians, and monitoring progress while documenting outcomes. Fabricate custom thermoplastic orthoses, manage inventory, and support student program development. Collaborate with employers on return-to-work accommodations and maintain HIPAA compliance. This Certified Hand Therapist supports Vail Health's advanced mountain healthcare system in a PRN role with a 16% differential, offering hourly pay between $45.95 and $63.41.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC)
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Colorado
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado or valid Compact Privilege
- Minimum 5 years of experience and 4,000 hours of practice in Hand Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must possess, or obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning modules, access policies and forms, and complete benefits enrollment
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
