Job Summary
Evaluate, plan, and provide treatment for patients with upper extremity injuries or conditions to help them regain function. Deliver patient-centered care by interpreting evaluations, coordinating treatment plans with physicians, and monitoring progress while documenting outcomes. Fabricate custom thermoplastic orthoses, manage inventory, and support students in program development. Collaborate with employers on return-to-work accommodations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This part-time role includes two 8-hour shifts, one 6-hour shift, and additional coverage, with an hourly rate of $45.95–$63.41. Candidates must hold a Colorado OT or PT license and CHT credential.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC)
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Colorado
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado or valid Compact Privilege
- Minimum 5 years of experience and 4,000 hours of practice in Hand Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must possess, or obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning modules, access policies and forms, and complete benefits enrollment
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must demonstrate strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as certification requirements
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
