Job Summary
Conduct evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, and discharge for patients with upper extremity disorders including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, and post-operative fractures. Deliver comprehensive, individualized treatment programs while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Collaborate with the regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure resource availability and stay current with Occupational Therapy research and Evidence-Based Practice. Provide custom splinting services pre and post-op orthopedic procedures. Maintain professional licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Part-time Monday-Friday schedule with compensation of $47.00-$50.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy
- Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy
- National registration and state licensure or registration
- Previous, demonstrated marketing experience
- Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
- CPR certification
- Valid state driver's license
