Job Summary
Evaluate and develop hand and upper extremity treatment plans for a broad range of diagnoses; provide direct patient care and delegate to OTAs/PTAs and technicians; serve as preceptor/mentor and clinical instructor to OT/PT staff, students, residents, and fellows; educate patients, families, and caregivers; collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve patient-specific goals; ensure safety, quality, and optimal patient outcomes; maintain comprehensive documentation; on-site role at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital with opportunities to teach and lead in clinical practice.
Required Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy state license
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- CHT - Certified Hand Therapist (HTCC)
