Job Summary
Certified Fleet Diesel Technician with Ford certification preferred to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and fleet vehicles. Responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service on fleet and commercial vehicles; troubleshoot electrical, emissions, fuel, and drivability systems; document diagnostics and services; communicate needs with service advisors and fleet managers; maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to dealership procedures. Requires minimum 3 years diesel experience, Ford certification preferred, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Diesel Technician (Ford certification preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience servicing and repairing diesel engines and fleet vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (diesel, electrical, emissions, drivability)
- Experience with preventative maintenance, inspections, and major diesel repairs
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and repair software
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced fleet/service environment
- Commitment to safety standards and dealership procedures
- Valid driver's license; clean driving record; ability to pass background check and drug screen
