Job Summary
Conduct traffic control and flagging duties to ensure public and crew safety around active work zones while performing telecommunications and underground construction labor. Set up and remove traffic devices, hand dig with shovels and mechanical tools, and assist with cabling installation and maintenance. Operate or work safely around heavy equipment in congested urban or remote locations, maintaining visual and audible contact with vehicles and pedestrians. Perform general construction labor, site preparation, and heavy lifting in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies. Valid Certified Flagging Card, driver's license, and willingness to travel and work overtime required. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $26.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Flagging Card
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness and ability to travel and work overtime based on project and jobsite needs
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in varying weather and jobsite conditions
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all company, DOT, and OSHA safety policies
- Ability to perform a hybrid role combining traffic control/flagging and underground utilities or telecommunications labor
