Job Summary

Develops, implements, and coordinates exercise programs while monitoring patient vital signs and conducting aerobic, strength, and flexibility exercises. Demonstrates correct equipment use, teaches behavior modifications for stress and nutrition, and performs patient evaluations, walk tests, and program intakes. Monitors individual patient progress, documents sessions in charts, and manages supply inventory. Identifies emergent situations and provides staff training on exercise testing technology. Requires current BLS and ACLS certifications, a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, and ACSM/CEP/RCEP certification within six months.

Required Qualifications

  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
  • Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, or other related field
  • ACSM, CEP, or RCEP certification
  • Minimum of one-year clinical experience in the field of exercise physiology
