Job Summary
Teach district-approved curriculum in 4th grade math, science, and social studies while creating a classroom environment conducive to student learning. Prepare for assigned classes, employ varied instructional techniques, and guide the learning process toward curriculum goals. Establish clear objectives, maintain order, and assess student accomplishments regularly to provide progress reports. Keep accurate records as required by law and district policy. Work with supervisors and team members to implement policies governing student life and conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate
- Appropriate endorsements on teaching certificate
- Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in specific field
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and the community
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form
- Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and board policies
