Job Summary
Lead the installation of electrical systems that interconnect solar arrays to the grid for residential properties; install solar/battery systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform Main Panel Upgrades (MPU). Collaborate with branch teams and homeowners to support system upgrades/repairs, coordinate with local inspectors to meet requirements, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires electrical installation/repair experience, the ability to work with wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC, and possession of a valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification. Must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds, climb rooftops, work in varied conditions, and travel ~5%. Located in markets within the United States; compensation range provided.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical installation and repair experience required
- Experience with wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC
- Must possess a valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification or equivalent per local and state requirements
- Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)
- Ability to work on rooftops and in various environments (heat, cold, noise, weather)
- Ability to distinguish colors (red, black, yellow, white, green) and hear verbal commands and warnings
- Ability to work with chemicals using appropriate protection
- Willingness to travel 5%
