Job Summary
Provide education on diabetes treatments, medications, and resources to enrolled patients via telephone, video, email, and SMS. Conduct one-on-one communications strictly adhering to program guidelines while avoiding clinical medical advice. Manage direct patient interactions to support persistence and compliance, utilizing strong listening and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Maintain excellent documentation accuracy and build relationships with cross-functional partners while working independently. Requires fluency in Spanish and English, a Bachelor's degree, and 3+ years as a Certified Diabetes Educator. Full-time remote role with 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST hours; no visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ year as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
- Complete understanding and application of principles, practices, and standards in diabetes care directly with patients
- Must reside in country where the job is posted
- Must have authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, or other relevant certifications that are Healthcare relate
- Contact Center Experience using a telephony platform
- Bilingual (i.e., fluency in Spanish and English)
- Motivational Interviewing experience
