Job Summary
Welcome patients into the treatment area, discuss care plans, and answer questions. Take vital signs, record medical history, and prep sterilized equipment for exams and procedures. Assist the dentist during procedures while adhering to all health and safety regulations and office policies. Schedule appointments and maintain equipment and supplies. Ensure patients have a comfortable and positive experience. The office is open Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour daily schedule Monday through Thursday and 5 hours on Friday. We use Open Dental software and advanced technology including digital radiography to streamline workflow and ensure accurate treatment planning.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
- Previous experience as a dental assistant
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
- Current license
