Job Summary
Welcome patients into the treatment area, discuss care plans, and answer questions while taking vital signs and recording medical history. Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, prepare sterilized equipment, and schedule appointments. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies. Maintain strong computer and data entry skills to support administrative tasks. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
- Previous experience as a dental assistant
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
