Job Summary
Seeking a Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Rehabilitation Nurse (CRRN) with 5+ years experience in neurological rehabilitation for a private home setting. Must have Texas RN license and expertise with TBI patients. Full-time positions available with rotating shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license valid in the state of Texas, with no infractions
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical rehabilitation unit, with specific expertise in neurological care and traumatic brain injuries
- Extensive experience with medication administration specific to complex patient needs
- Experience working with patients who have tracheotomies and G-tubes
- In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation principles
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and professional development
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Experience at TIRR (The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research) medical location in Texas is considered a bonus
