Certified Crane Operator

Job Summary
Operate cranes and boom trucks to construct and repair electrical systems, maintaining and inspecting equipment before each lift. Read load charts, write lift plans, and oversee setup with correct rigging techniques while assisting the crew with shoveling dirt and tamping pole holes. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and drill rigs in good working order. Travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, and work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and storm conditions. Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Available for on-call rotation, outages, emergencies, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Possess NCCCO certification, Class A CDL, and DOT certification. Required Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of experience
- NCCCO certification
- crane operator's card
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Valid DOT certification
- ability to operate a drill rig
- Willing to travel long distances on short notice
- ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime
