Job Summary
Inspect customer vehicles at time of receipt to identify damage, missing parts, and mechanical problems; document vehicle condition by completing Vehicle Condition Report (VCR), taking digital pictures, and data entry for in-lane and online sales; communicate effectively with management and staff to facilitate a seamless auction experience and resolve issues; ensure compliance with auction procedures, policies, and safety guidelines; perform related duties such as locating/moving vehicles; requires 1-2 years in car auction or related roles, strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, familiarity with auction procedures, and a valid driver's license; ability to work in an auction lot setting for most of the day.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience in the car auction industry or related role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to work in auction lot setting, including moving for most of the day
- Familiarity with auction procedures, terminology, and documentation
